As The H reported, the major announcement at last year's LugRadio Live was that there would be another LugRadio Live, even though the LugRadio podcast had come to an end. Speculation over whether this would actually happen has now been resolved as the date has been announced as the 24th of October in Wolverhampton.

LugRadio was a popular Linux related podcast which had a strong enough following that the LugRadio Live events were created, bringing together a wide spectrum of people from the open source community in the UK. At last year's event, The H got to see Linux UMPC's for music, Beagle Board ARM based computers, heard Jeremy Allison talking about the history of Samba and met with a lively, friendly and engaging Linux community.

LugRadio Live 2009 is being organised by the Wolves LUG, Wolverhampton's own Linux User Group. Currently there are no other details other than it will be at the Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton. The H has already marked the date in the diary.
