Having been open since 11 January, the Call For Participation in Europe's first LinuxCon conference is due to close on 8 July. The conference is due to take place between 26 to 28 October, at the Clarion Congress Hotel, Prague, in the Czech Republic.

This is part of a group of Linux activities taking place at the end of October in Prague:

Proposals for presentations at LinuxCon Europe shoud be submitted to the Linux Foundation.

As it is taking place immediately following the Kernel Summit, LinuxCon Europe will also be attended by some of the leading kernel developers. Among those attending, the Linux Foundation mentions : "Linus Torvalds, Ravi Simhambhatla, VP of IT and Business Applications at Tesla Motors, Jim Zemlin, Executive Director of The Linux Foundation". LinuxCon Europe is co-located with the Embedded Linux Conference Europe, an event created by last years merger of the CE Linux Forum into the Linux Foundation.
