Linux Foundation announces T-shirt design contest winner
The winning design by Said Hassan.
The Linux Foundation has announced that Said Hassan is the winner of its Linux.com T-shirt Design Contest. The non-profit organisation announced the contest when it launched its online Linux.com Store back in March of this year.
The foundation says that Hassan's submission was one of more than 100 entries and received 57% of the nearly 8,000 votes that were cast. Hassan, a marketing consultant at SADAF Information Technology in Gaza, will receive a free trip to attend this year's LinuxCon conference taking place from the 10th to the 12th of August, 2010 in Boston, Massachusetts.
All revenue generated from the store will go towards Linux Foundation activities, events and other initiatives
