Kaltura CE 2.0 released

Kaltura, the open source online video platform company, has released version 2.0 of Kaltura Community Edition (CE). The software supports many video formats, such as Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight and HTML5 video, and integrates easily with various content management systems, including Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress and Alfresco, and Moodle, the free learning platform.

Kaltura CE enables video management, publishing, syndication and monetization, as well as providing a robust framework for managing rich-media applications, and developing a variety of online work flows for video. It's suitable for deployment on local servers or on the cloud.

The new features of Kaltura CE V2.0 include analysis capabilities, improved access and search engine optimisation. The Kaltura Management Console has been enhanced to include an online video editor and the enterprise level admin console supports multiple users and provides monitoring functions.
