KDE SC 4.8.3: Kontact Suite and Dolphin bug fixes

The KDE developers have announced the release the May update of KDE SC, 4.8.3, which they say contains significant bug fixes specifically in the form of improvements in the Kontact Suite and Dolphin.

Fixes in the Dolphin file manager correct issues with current item selection, make the Escape key clear the selection and cancel searches, and revert a 2.0 decision to always use KB for file sizes. There are also "performance improvements all over the place" with the change log listing "more but not all improvements since 4.8.2". The developers say that as the update is only bug-fix or translation updates, it will be a "safe and pleasant update for everyone".
