KDE 4.2.4 released
The KDE developers have announced the release of version 4.2.4 (code-named "CornRow") of the open source Linux and UNIX desktop environment. KDE 4.2.4 arrives less than one month after the 4.2.3 release and includes several bug fixes, performance improvements and updated translations.
Several improvements have been made to KHTML, the Konqueror web browser and the KMail e-mail client, including nearly 20 bug fixes. Okular, KDE's document viewer, now correctly supports selecting pages to print when using the PostScript back-end.
More details about the release can be found in the change log and release announcement. KDE 4.2.4 source code and pre-compiled packages are available to download – as are build and installation instructions. KDE 4.3, the next major release, is expected to arrive at the end of July.
