Jaspersoft updates its free Business Intelligence Suite

Jaspersoft has updated its open source Business Intelligence Suite. To improve the appearance of embedded charts, Version 3.1 now includes a diagram template feature. Also new is an open interface that simplifies the integration of third-party visualisation tools.

Version 3.1 of the Jaspersoft Business Intelligence Suite is certified for the enterprise version of Sun's GlassFish application server. Since autumn the suite has also been listed in the US General Services Administration (GSA) database and can handle government framework agreements with commercial suppliers. Jaspersoft's PDF Reports complies with the provisions of US Section 508, which requires federal agencies' electronic and information technology to be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Jaspersoft has produced a datasheet PDF showing all the new features of the release. The free Community version of the suite is available to download under the GPL.
