Jaspersoft launches JasperReports Professional Developer Edition
Open source Business Intelligence (BI) software specialist Jaspersoft has announced the immediate availability of a new version of JasperReports Professional and introduced JasperReports Professional Developer Edition. Both of the new releases include Flash-based geo-visualization, advanced charting capabilities and widgets.
The software costs $249 per user and $4,600 per production server. Jaspersoft will also be hosting free US and European webinars on the latest JasperReports Professional releases on the 24th of September, 2009.
Jaspersoft's components are available on the Jaspersoft site and the Jasperforge.org site hosts the open source projects. The free JasperReports community variant, which doesn't include the new Flash tools, is released under version 3 of the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPLv3).
