JBoss Logo With the second milestone of version 6 of the JBoss Application Server, the developers have integrated the Servlet 3.0 (JSR 315) and JPA 2.0 (JSR 317) "Java EE 6" technologies. The new version also offers RESTEasy, an implementation of the JAX-RS 1.0 specification that allows web services und Java applications to be developed according to the REST paradigm in web frameworks. The developers have promised to support JAX-RS 1.1 in a future milestone. The JBoss Microcontainer has been updated to version 2.2.

More details about the release, including further advancements and a complete list of bug fixes, can be found in the release notes. JBoss Application Server is released under the LGPL license.
