GroundWork Monitor Enterprise 6.2 adds new capabilities

GroundWork logo The GroundWork Open Source (GWOS) developers have released version 6.2 of their GroundWork Monitor Enterprise Edition system and network monitoring suite. According to the San Francisco-based company, the latest release of its flagship product is targeted at service providers of all sizes and includes a number of new features.

GroundWork Monitor Enterprise Edition 6.2 features the addition of new capabilities, such as controls for service providers, a new Java monitoring agent and improved monitoring for VMware ESX and vCenter, for users running complex monitoring solutions and role-based infrastructure views. Other changes include extended descriptions and notes that can be associated with monitored objects, integration with the Webmetrics External Performance Monitoring and new customisable dashboard options providing better sort options and allowing users to hide drill-down links.

The entry-level Enterprise QuickStart package starts at $49 (£32.50) per year. The open source Community Edition is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public Licence (GPLv2).
