Google have released an open source utility, Calaboration, for Mac OS X to make it easier to configure its, now official, iCal/CalDav integration in Google Calendar. Mac OS X users can quickly configure iCal to make use of the new CalDav syncing. It has been released under an Apache 2.0 licence, and requires Mac OS X 10.5. CalDav is a rapidly evolving specification, implemented as an extension to WebDav, which is designed to promote better calendar sharing.

The applications has been developed as part of the Google Mac Developer Playground, which contains a number of open source projects for Mac OS X users and developers.
