Google confirms Google I/O 2010 dates
Google has confirmed that next years Google I/O developer conference will take place on the 19th and the 20th of May, 2010. In addition to various Google products, such as App Engine, Google Web Toolkit, Android and Chrome, the Google I/O developer conference will focus on "pushing the boundaries of web applications through open web technologies". According to the announcement, early registration for the event, which will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, will open in January 2010.
Google say around 3,000 developers from more than 45 countries attended the 2009 Google I/O conference. Google's new communication and collaboration product, Google Wave, was first previewed for developers at the conference and nearly 80 presentations were held during the event. The 2009 keynote address was delivered by Google CEO Eric Schmidt along with Google Vice President of Engineering Vic Gundotra. Keynote videos from Google I/O 2009 are available on YouTube – Day 1 and Day 2 and on Google Code.
