GNU Hackers Meeting 2009

Brian Gough, a GNU Scientific Library developer, has announced that registration for this years GNU Hackers Meeting has now opened. The meetings theme is "the continued advancement of the GNU system" and is intended for active GNU maintainers and contributors. Discussion and talks are encouraged on various subjects, including challenges for software freedom and the GNU system, technical goals for the future and organisational development.

This years GNU Hackers Meeting will take place from the 11th to the 13th of November and is being held jointly with the Free Society Conference and Nordic Summit (FSCONS), which takes place from the 14th to the 15th of November, in Gothenburg, Sweden. Those wishing to attend are advised to register online as soon as possible.
