GIMP 2.6.10 fixes crashing bug
Less than one week after the release of version 2.6.9 of GIMP, the GIMP project development team have issued the tenth point update to the 2.6.x branch of GIMP (an acronym for the GNU Image Manipulation Program). According to the developers, the latest stable update includes updated translations and fixes "a rather bad bug" that managed to make it into the previous update to the open source image editing tool. The bug reportedly caused GIMP to crash when a user clicked on a scroll bar from a combo box.
More details about the release, including a list of bug fixes, can be found in the change log. GIMP 2.6.10 is available to download from one of the project's mirrors and is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2).
