North Bridge Venture Partners, a venture capital company that specialises in funding startups, is running a survey to determine "The Future Of Open Source". The survey is supported by Acquia, EnterpriseDB, Jaspersoft, Mozilla, Novell, Olliance Group, Red Hat, rPath, Sonatype, Sugar CRM, Sun, and The 451 Group.

Questions within the survey ask; what makes open source attractive, which business sectors will, or will not, be disrupted by open source, which open source business models are preferred and how open source will affect development. The results of the survey will be presented at the Open Source Business Conference being held in San Francisco on March 24th and 25th, during a keynote panel at the start of the event.
