Zoom Flock 2.5.5 on Mac OS X.
The Flock developers have released version 2.5.5 of their social web browser based on Firefox 3, addressing several security issues. According to Shawn Hardin, President and CEO, Flock is aimed at the "most active 25 per cent of users". It automatically manages updates and media from several popular social services, including MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, Digg, YouTube and Twitter.

The latest Flock 2.5.5 release has its Firefox core updated to the latest 3.0.15 patch, which closed 5 critical holes in the Mozilla browser. Additionally, Adobe's Flash plug-in has been upgraded to the "latest" version, however, the exact version number is not provided.

More details about the release can be found in the release notes. Flock 2.5.5 is available to download (direct download) for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
