Extend Firefox 3 Winners announced
The Extend Firefox 3 competition, started in March by the Mozilla Foundation, has come to its conclusion with the announcement of the winners. In the Best New Add-on category, the three winners were Pencil, a diagramming and GUI prototyping tool, TagMarks, a one-click bookmark tagging extension and HandyTag which automatically retrieves appropriate keyword tags for bookmarks.
In the Best Updated Add-on category, the jury selected Read it Later, a tool for marking pages to read later without cluttering up your bookmarks and which allows for offline reading of those pages, TagSifter, which lets you view your bookmarks by tag and Bookmark Previews, a Coverflow style bookmark previewer.
Fire.fm was the singular prize winner in the Best Music Add-on category.
