The next EclipseCon conference will take place from the 22nd to the 25th of March, 2010 at the Santa Clara Hyatt. The event, organised by the Eclipse Foundation, is now accepting submissions for talks. All proposals must be submitted before the deadline of the 18th of December, 2009. Tutorials, Technical Talks and Panels will be chosen on the 8th of January.

According to the organisers, this year's conference will be organised around three themes. The first will be "Making with Ecilpse" and will look at how people use Eclipse to create new software. "Making at Eclipse" will focus on several state-of-the-nation talks about Eclipse projects and "Making Community" will discuss how Eclipse projects and the community can continue to grow and prosper.

Those wishing to attend EclipseCon 2010 are advised to register as soon as possible. Early registration is $1,295 (£785) and will be open until the 31st of December, 2009. Eclipse members, committers, alumni and OSGi DevCon members will receive a 15 per cent discount.
