The Eclipse Foundation is asking users of Eclipse and related technologies to fill out its annual Community Survey. With the survey, the organisation aims to establish the trends and challenges that will be affecting the usage and deployment of the software projects under its auspices.

The Foundation expects the survey to take between five and ten minutes to complete. To reward users who complete the survey, there is a chance to win a pass to EclipseCon and t-shirts. The survey can be filled out until 10 May. Users who participate don't have to provide any personal data, but a name and email address are required to enter the prize draw. As in previous years, the data from the survey will be reported in aggregate form when the results are published in June.
