The open source data warehousing specialists Infobright and business intelligence software company Jaspersoft have teamed up to release an open source analytic bundle which includes Infobright Community Edition (ICE) database software and the analysis and reporting capabilities of JasperAnalysis and JasperServer Community Edition (CE). The business intelligence software is available for Windows, as an integrated virtual machine for VMWare (Ubuntu-based) and as an installation package for several popular Linux distributions. According to Jaspersoft President and CEO Brian Gentile, “This integrated download makes it simple for users to immediately deploy a full-featured reporting and analytics system with a highly scalable database".

Users interested in trying the software are encouraged to register on the site before downloading. The bundled software is available to download from the Infobright.org portal and is released under the GNU General Public License version 2. A commercial Enterprise Edition of Infobright is available and includes extended functionality and various support options. The Jaspersoft products are also available on a fee paying basis as limited Professional versions with support, warranty and indemnity provided.
