MySQL logo Subscribers to Sun's MySQL Enterprise service will soon get Enterprise Fall Release 2009, the commercial version of the MySQL open source database, with a redesigned query analysis system. The new system is based on a graphic extension of the MySQL Enterprise Monitor Query Analyser, which allows database administrators and developers to track queries and remedy performance problems.

New correlation graphs allow users to filter and analyse queries for a desired time period with the click of a mouse. Prices for MySQL Enterprise start at around £369 per server per year. You can download a 30-day trial version of the new release at Sun's MySQL site.
