BI suite: Jaspersoft 4 with new user interface

Jaspersoft Logo Jaspersoft has released version 4 of its free Business Intelligence suite. The most important advances highlighted by the company are the new, modern user interface and the web application architecture; the latter clearly separates the business logics, implemented in Java, from the interface, which is easy to adapt via cascading style sheets. With these new features, Jaspersoft is targeting "BI builders" – developers that integrate Business Intelligence into business applications and make it accessible to end users.

Jaspersoft's BI suite is structured as an open core project. Its basic components are available as open source code in community versions, but the complete suite with additional features is only available as a commercial product. A table compares the various editions.
