AsteriskNOW 1.5.0 released

Nearly 6 months after the the 1.5 beta was released, the AsteriskNOW developers have released version 1.5.0 of their Software Appliance that integrates the open source telephony engine and tool kit, Asterisk with a Linux distribution. Version 1.5.0 is based on CentOS 5.3 (previous versions were based on rPath Linux) and includes updates to the latest Asterisk and DAHDI packages. Permissions issues have also been fixed between Asterisk and httpd/FreePBX.

More details about AsteriskNOW can be found on the Getting Started page. Existing users can update via yum by running yum update. Version 1.5.0 is available to download and is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
