ApacheCon NA, EclipseCon and Northeast Linux Fest calling for papers

Several open source oriented conferences are calling for the submission of papers to their 2013 events. ApacheCon North America (NA), EclipseCon and the Northeast Linux Fest are all accepting talks from interested community members.

ApacheCon NA 2013 will take place from 24 February to 2 March in Portland, Oregon and the organisers are advising interested speakers to submit their proposals by 11 November. The conference's organisers are accepting talks of 45 to 60 minutes in length that fit within the conference theme of "Open Source Community Leadership Drives Enterprise-Grade Innovation" and are of interest to the Apache community.

Individuals interested in speaking at EclipseCon 2013 in Boston will have to submit their proposals by 19 November; the conference itself runs from 25 to 28 March 2013 and is co-located with two sub-conferences, OSGi DevCon and ALM Connect. The organisers have published a Submissions FAQ that includes more information for interested speakers.

Next year's installment of the Northeast GNU/Linux Fest will be taking place at Harvard University from 16 to 17 March and has opened its registration for attendees. Attendees can pitch talk ideas as part of the registration process and the organisers will let the community vote on the submitted talks. For that reason, they are calling interested attendees to submit their ideas as soon as possible.
