The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) has announced the speaker lineup and program for Apache Con Europe 2012 which is taking place 5 - 8 November at the Rhein-Neckar Arena in Sinsheim, Germany. According to the ASF, the conference is mostly targeted at "technologists currently developing Apache-based solutions, as well as those interested in committing code to an Apache project, contributing to the Apache Incubator, or enhancing their Open Source products and community practices."

The program encompasses 13 different tracks covering such topics as Big Data, Cloud, NoSQL databases and a track about Java Enterprise projects in the ASF. All content was proposed by Apache community members and selected by Apache Project Management Committees. The theme for the event is "Diversity: Worldwide Technical Collaboration Creates Great Open Source Projects" and a full list of all talks is available from the ApacheCon Europe web site.

Attendees who register before 1 October can take advantage of the Early Bird rate which reduces the ticket price from €600 (approximately £480) to €450 (£360).
