Ingres and Alfresco have agreed on a strategic partnership. Both open source providers want to link their product lines more closely. In the framework of the agreement, Alfresco has certified the Ingres database for use with its Alfresco enterprise content management system. Ingres wants to offer its customers ECM solutions using its databank as the backend. In the context of their cooperation, the two companies are offering a common Community Bundle including both CMS and database.
