AccesStream, an Atlanta based start up, has released the version 1.0 of its open source enterprise identity access management (IAM) system. The current release offers consolidated profile management and single sign-on services using SAML. The application, which uses Spring, Apache Axis 2, Open SAML, Tomcat, PostgresSQL and Apache Derby, is available to download now and is licensed under the GNU LGPL2 licence. A SourceForge project page is also available.

The company who says it "has been underground for the past year" will offer a range of support packages and professional services for the software. Its roadmap has a summer 1.1 release planned to include a preview of access and audit reports and possibly LDAP capabilities. Lance Edelman, co-founder of AccesStream said "We are very pleased with our progress thus far and the reception our solution has received."
