75,000 Euros awarded to open source businesses

On Wednesday, as part of the Open Source Meets Business conference in Nuremberg, the third annual Open Source Business Awards were presented. The Open Source Business Foundation provided a prize total of 75,000 Euros for the top 3 open source companies.

Third prize was given to a Swiss company, Snowflake, for it's Todoyu web based project management tool which won them 10,000 Euros. First place was a tie between Oxid eSales for it's eShop Community Edition and Sopera for it's SOA suite. Both companies will receive 32,500 Euros and share the honor of winning first place.
