Wrong information in this post, please correct 28 December 2009 09:24

I am sorry, but .... please just remove everything you wrote in this
post about reactos! It is just so wrong! Next time when you write
about software you don't know, please first research and don't take
10 years old sources for this.

My fist hint:
Windows NT is just a family-name for Windows NT 1-4, Windows 2000,
Windows XP, Windows server 2003, Windows server 2008 AND Windows
Vista AND Windows seven.

Also: Why should ReactOS be the oddest and most unlikely free
operating System? It is completely made using clean room engeneering
which is 100% legal in Europe, USA and most other countries. ReactOS
is at the same level as Linux in the legal view.

That is wrong, too! We don't write Windows NT from scratch as free
software, ReactOS instead is a project to write a free and opensource
operatingsystem which will be binary compatible with application
software and device drivers made for Microsoft Windows NT versions
5.x and up (Windows 2000, xp, vista, 7 and its successors). 
That is also the reason why ReactOS doesn't fit into a post called
"New life for dead Software" because as far as I know, Windows NT
isn't dead - nearly everyone uses it every day a long time! 

Later in your post you wrote: "The rationale of the ReactOS
developers is that Linux will never appeal to ordinary users, and
Windows will."
What the f**k??????? He! Many ReactOS-Developers - for example me -
use Linux most time! Where did you read this? Just from a
Comment-Message from a Microsoft-Troll? Please remove this as fast as
possible or show me proofs of this!
Your next sentece is: "They reason that the architecture of Windows
NT, later Windows XP, is "well known for its extensibility,
portability, reliability, robustness, performance and compatibility."
[...]
Do you want to say it isn't?

Your next really funny sentece: "So their aim is to come up with a
drop-in replacement for Windows which is just like the real thing,
but secure."
Hey! Do you know any hidden Websites I can't see/know about? Where
did you read this? Or did you ask in the webirc-chat when no
developer was on?

Also if I read this sentence it sounds like you don't think windows
is secure and linux is. I wrote in my blog about this a few days ago:

Also just as an information: the wine project and the Reactos project
do a lot of code-exchange and fixes in both directions.

But anyway: thanks fo at least writing something about reactos.
Heise didn't even write about the 0.3.11 release. (and yes, you got a
release-notification + information)
