I have used OpenOffice for years and I find it very, very useful. I
think the only thing holding it back when it comes to more widespread
usage is that most people are ignorant about OpenOffice.
Using this software would have saved the Germans a lot of money.
OpenOffice users also benefit from features that are not in MS word
like direct PDF conversion.
Similarly, the Germans have downloaded Firefox 3.6 many million times
more than than UK and all other countries other than the US.
