Have you actually checked the Firefox support forums? I'm not the
only one with this problem. It has been going on for many months with
many people complaining and no real solutions. In checking with
various friends, those that have this same problem, even on brand new
computers, are not happy. They just don't want to post. I know of
only a few people who have not seen this problem.

There may be millions of happy FF users, but right now, the number of
unhappy users have been growing and none of the people who post to
the FF support forum have seen any response.

If it was not a basic flaw, K-Meleon, which is based on the same
kernel, would not have a similar, but lesser issue. FF is unbearable
while K-Meleon is tolerable. The fact that K-Meleon has a similar
problem shows that the problem is in the basic structure.
