From the abstract: "We propose a mediation service called Object View
Broker, that provides object views of data stored in relational or
other databases, to object-oriented applications. The Object View
Broker manages these views in a multi-application, multi-databases
environment, and provides customized services such as notification,
caching and locking. We have implemented and used a version of Object
View Broker for a service order distribution application at US WEST."
