... the working Windows support. Mercurial lives on the Python
universe and is a cross-platform being. With TortoiseHG there is
even a pretty GUI extension.
In contrast, Git's roots are in unix-like environments and it is only
beginning to be usable on Windows. Its Tcl/Tk GUIs are powerful but
look ugly, like being made by hackers for hackers.
