For years I have been proposing new secure hardware to underpin
internet wide security and positive personal identification. 

Anonymity only allows people to do the wrong thing. We should be
proud of what we put 'out there'.

We are currently using this server for h-online. The whole internet
is server/client based and always has been. Email is on servers, web
pages are on servers, downloads are on servers, even peer to peer
start at a server. 

If you have a domain name and a fixed IP for your personal connection
and servers, it is located using the network of DNS servers. Or more
likely, you will have your web pages, email and whatever else you
want available at your domain, hosted by a server company.

My designs are based on each client having a secure online store of
their own personal data and selectively allowing access to that data.
Everything you put out on the internet stays in your 'personal
server'. This article and these replies would each exist on our own
'servers' and be linked. The links would exist at www.h-online.com or
as a linked list with links at the beginning and end of each reply. 

Searches are performed by network routers querying data on your
'personal server' earmarked for search-ability. Routers contain
caches of search results.

A corporation has the same interface or a number of interfaces and
just larger 'personal servers'. When we sign onto a company website
they get access to our selection of personal identification and trust
is because we are who we are and the security is in the network not
their server. 

If companies and individuals see they can gain from a renewed
infrastructure, it can happen with a gradual rollout in parallel with
the existing network.
