Mandriva 2010 Makes the Cut 12 March 2010 04:52

I've been a linux "newbie" for many years now, having gone through
Corel, Xandros, Mandriva, Ubuntu, SuSE and Mandriva again - plus
RedHat somewhere in there.

Xandros was too much like Windows, I couldn't get the first Mandriva
and Ubuntu to work on my computer.  SuSE was the first to function
well on a regular basis.  I was frustrated, though, with the seeming
slow pace of updated programs. So I tried Mandriva again due to its
bleeding edge reputation.

I can honest say that I'm very happy with verson 2010. Looks great
and works well.  Recommended to those who have been frustrated by
other versions.
