Hello,
so nice of you to touch this topic. The topic of "screen lockers"
that don't actually lock the screen. But first things first; just so
you know I have crashed KDE 4.4 screen locker by holding Return, it
segfaulted in the very same manner as its Gnome cousin

--forcelock
Even if they don't crash on this stupid bug they are still completely
useless, because they do not block key combinations like
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, they can't, and if the user doesn't disable them
a shell is easily reachable. So what is a screen locker that doesn't
actually lock the screen? How do we call that software? What purpose
does it have?
