About driver testing 28 July 2010 18:13
Testing drivers requires someone that meets 3 conditions:
(1) have the hardware
(2) have the knowledge how to set up the test environment
(3) have the need (or interest) to use the hardware
If one of those conditions fail, the driver goes untested.
Perhaps things would go easier if there was a website where
(a) search for drivers with all conditions met, and report status
(b) search for drivers missing one or more of those conditions
(c) someone that meets some of those conditions may volunteer
