Opera Mini 4.1 mobile web browser released

The new version of the Opera Mini mobile phone browser is claimed by its Norwegian developers to be up to 50 per cent faster than its predecessors. Version 4.1 of the software now makes suggestions while internet addresses are being input. It is also possible to store web sites and to upload and download directly via the browser.

Opera Mini 4.1 was issued in a Beta version in early April. The release version can be downloaded from the web site that also hosts a small video introducing the Mini-browser's new features.
