Opera, the Norwegian software firm, has issued a new beta version of the next generation of its browser. The main claims of the new release are improved stability and performance. Opera 9.5 can synchronise its bookmarks with several browsers, as well as with Opera Mini. To achieve this, it saves a copy to a server at Opera's headquarters.

The new features in Version 9.5 are listed at the Opera web site.

The change log of the current beta version gives details of this second beta.
