Yet again Sun "tips their hat" to open source but doesn't actually
commit.
They fork the code and release a reduced functionality version to the
community.
Rather than doing "upstream" work on the opensource version they
maintain two trees and don't add all the goodies and new features
from their propitiatory version.
Just like they did with Solaris.
Sun claims that solaris is open source, but it's not.
Rather than open sourcing Solaris, Sun creates a new codebase that's
similar, but inferior, to Solaris and opens sources that code.
Regardless of the spin OpenSolaris is NOT Solaris.
Sun needs to decide if they want to commit to open source or play
this continued PR game
