Microsoft Updates EMET to v3.0 19 June 2012 01:26
Hi,
Just wanted to inform anyone interested that Microsoft has updated
its Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit to v3.0.
After installing EMET v3.0 I noticed a notifier runs in the
background to elicit verbose information to the user when an exploit
is detected. I think it's useful because it specifies the type of
exploit detected. You can disable it from running at start-up,
otherwise it resides in the notification area.
If anyone wants to look into it, here are the links:
For information you can read the blog entry:

.aspx
For instructions on deployment the link is:

To access the help and support forums that also have a list of known
compatibility issues:

The previous mentions of EMET's preventive capabilities were IMO
positive, so hopefully someone will find this post useful.
