Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) browser for reading and searching through any LDAP or X.500 directory with an LDAP interface. Handles all the standard operations such as insert, delete, copy and edit, as well as more complex operations such as copying and deleting entire directory trees.
Includes a range of tools for splitting large files of up to 10GB (Windows version only), as well as for joining the individual parts, which can also be accessed on a multi-platform basis. Runs without installation.
Uses a two-step procedure – block sorting with the Burrows-Wheeler algorithm and compression with Huffman coding – to compress files. Can also read/write files in BZ2 format. According to the manufacturer, it performs as well as programs in the PPM suite or statistical compression programs. However, it can’t pack or unpack archives.
